SOMATIC YOGA

This is a class for healing – preventative and curative. We use props such as rolled up towels and blocks for fascial release, basically tending to the “issues in your tissues”.

This is an inside out practise, where we use focused awareness and breathwork, and tune into the body’s whispers, accessing the body’s innate healing mechanism to bring about significant positive changes in our systems.

This is a trauma-informed class, working with the nervous system and using techniques such as anchoring, finding safety in the body, pandiculation and fascial unwinding, using a self-compassionate approach to wellbeing.
